WHAT IS STONE CARPET?

Stone aggregates come together in one continuous floor surface.

Stone carpet is a decorative flooring system created by mixing natural stone granules with a high-performance resin binder and applying the blend over a properly prepared substrate.

Also described as resin aggregate flooring, the system keeps the grain and colour character of selected marble, quartz or similar mineral aggregates visible. The result is a natural, architectural surface with a distinct material identity.

The texture of natural stone, the binding strength of resin and a seamless surface language.

APPLICATION

Stone Carpet Installation

Stone carpet installation includes assessing and preparing the substrate, homogeneously mixing selected natural stone aggregates with the appropriate resin system, and spreading and levelling the material across the floor. Search terms such as “quartz stone carpet” and “resin-bound aggregate flooring” often describe related approaches; correct substrate preparation and compatible system components are critical to final surface performance.
