What Is Microcement?
Microcement is a cement- and polymer-based finish applied in a thin layer to floors, walls and, in some cases, existing surfaces in residential and commercial environments in order to create a concrete appearance.
Microcement gives architects, interior designers, builders, property managers and homeowners the opportunity to create a concrete look in places where this would not normally be possible. The bonding capacity of microcement mixes allows the material to be applied over many existing substrates, including concrete, compacted finishes, tiles, plasterboard, fibre-cement boards and MDF.

What does microcement look like?
Below are examples of projects completed with microcement on floors, walls and joinery. Because microtopping is applied by hand, visible trowel marks and variations in colour and tone are a natural characteristic of microcement. Natural light can make these trowel marks more noticeable.
