Its composition, based on polymers, accelerators, special aggregates, air-entraining components and fibres, gives it strong resistance to adverse and severe weather conditions. Its resistance to moisture and heat also means that, unlike materials such as timber, it does not shrink or expand significantly in response to environmental changes and does not require expansion joints in the same way.

Concretta also makes it possible for outdoor furniture to remain much lighter than comparable pieces made from solid stone or concrete. For outdoor furniture that will be finished with Concretta, we generally recommend constructing the form from fibreboard.

The Concretta layer covering the structure is generally 2 or 3 millimetres thick and, thanks to the product’s characteristics, can withstand rubbing, impact and scratching very effectively. For this reason, outdoor furniture finished with Concretta can remain in use for generations.

In short, C-Furniture consists of furniture finished with our Concretta material. Colour options are available; the finish is applied at a thickness of around 1–3 mm and is flexible enough to cope with the movement of furniture. It does not crack easily, does not hold dust, is hygienic and can be wiped clean. It bonds strongly to many substrates, including plasterboard. Application is straightforward and the surface can be put into use quickly.
